As are tamales, corn-husk wrapped cornmeal laced with various spicy sauces. Quesadillas, fried tortillas filled with cheese and sometimes chicken or beef, are also popular.

There are many airports in Mexico, notably: Guadalajara Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport situated 17km (12 miles) southeast of Guadalajara, Mexico City Benito Juarez International Airport located 13km (8 miles) east of Mexico City, Monterrey General Mariano Escobedo International Airport situated 24km (15 miles) northeast of Monterrey, and Cancún International Airport located 22km (14 miles) southwest of Cancún. Getting around the country can be done by air and coaches or by using the local buses that link almost all towns and cities.
