Named after the Acock family, who built a house here in 1300s, Acocks Green is an area of Birmingham in the West Midlands. The area has a long history but only began expansion in the 19th century with the arrival of the railway. While the area is part of a very busy and industrialised city, Acocks Green does boast some attractive open spaces, including Fox Hollies Park, where you will find a man-made lake named Round Pool. A rich mix of ethnicities gives the area a diverse culture and plenty of character. It is also within easy reach of Birmingham city centre.

The area is located on the A41, which connects to the centre of Birmingham and the M42, and is also accessible via the A4040.
